Sweet Sundays // Cookie-Brownies

Do you ever find yourself dealing with the inner turmoil over which type of desert to whip up, “brownies or cookies”… “brownies or cookies”? Of course you do. Well, no more my friend, for here is the cure. A brownie-cookie lovechild, both chocolatey and delightful. With a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a cup of jo, this sweet-treat is like a chunk of heaven…. I found this “recipe” via SimpleOrganizedLiveing and it’s awwwwesome.

Y O U   W I L L   N E E D:

  • 1 Family size brownie mix {for a 9×13″ pan}
  • eggs, oil and water called for on the brownie box
  • 1 package refrigerated cookie dough — ( chocolate chip )

W H A T   T O   D O:

  • Preheat your oven to 350*F
  • Make your favorite brownie mix according to directions on the box
  • Spread in a greased 9×13″ baking pan
  • Create flat round “disks” out of your favorite cookie dough and place on top of the brownie batter
  • Bake at 350*F for 30-40 minutes or until the middle is set.
I’d also like to recommend “Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip cookie bars”… but sadly this mix is only available at select locations, but you have more options with the recipe above. Have fun, m’dears!
