I Want Texture!

| Wearing: Cardigan C/O Romwe | Vintage 50s dress, belt and shoes |
I’m such an enormous fan of texture. I love it to be on pretty much anything.. in art and photography, design and decorating… when I was thinking that, I realized I do not place enough texture in my outfits. So now my goal for pairings this year, is to really consider textures when putting together an outfit… mix my patterns, shapes and colors for more interest to the eye.
I grew up thinking we wear clothes to keep our bodies warm, so I feel like I am coming at this from a strategic angle… but I know I’ll figure it all out some day. Ok, not really… but I’ll have fun along the way.

Did you colour your hair? I like. This whole look makes me think of Enid Blyton The Fab four . I love texture in everything as well, it gives things a different perspective, depth.
Yes, I did :) I tried this brunette after I dyed it a light strawberry blonde… and this is the result! I hope it comes out this red after I dye it again… hehe!

I love your hair.
Well, I think that having fun with clothes AND keeping our body warm is a great combination!
This outfit is so lovely, I especially like the socks and the pattern on your dress. And your hair…oh my, what a beautiful color!!
Life is a romantic poem
Thank you so very very much! :)

Such a pretty outift and I love your hair! (:
Wonderful as always. I love textures and patterns and such a lot too. It makes an outfit more fun to not just have plain cloth.
Lady, you look way too lovely! I’m envious – that dress is incredible. Love the textures you’ve used in this outfit. I’m a big fan of wearing textured clothing, like big, chunky cardigans – they’re so cozy, and add visual interest. I know what you mean about feeling like you’re “strategizing” – I do the same thing when I try to incorporate neutrals into my usually very colorful outfits. But strategizing can be a way of expanding your creativity :)

It’s fun to see others approach something like fashion with an analytical point of view, hehe! And envious? PUH-LEEZ – you are GORGEOUS, woman! :)))

Thank you so much! I only meant that I would like to continue to wear things that are textured, like this cardigan :) I found it added so much interest to the dress than my plain cardigans!

I absolutely adore your dress! You have such a nice color palette here with your hair color, as well!
I love the little socks & oxfords added to this it really pulls together the whole look. The dress & cardigan are really lovely together. I’ve been more interested in texture & patterns of fabrics lately too. Looking forward to see what you put together.
Oh my god, this combination is gorgeous and your hair looks amazing here!! That green dress is so pretty and looks quite wonderful with the cardigan

I just love this whole ensemble. It’s so cute!! And that sweater is such a great combination with the dress. It is a great touch of texture.
There is nothing better than a fuzzy sweater. They look great, and they are always nice and warm.
I am definitely diggin’ these two textures you chose to combine here, I would of picked up that sweater too almost just to feel its fluffy texture! And that green dress, my my my. There aren’t that many pretty green dresses about! That one is a sweet little winner there. You look like you came out of a story book Aya! Everything is coordinated to some extent. Even your hair, belt and shoes match the same-ish colour! This makes me so happy ^_^
Yaay keep on making more winner outfits please!
Good luck to you!
Love

I love this outfit, such a great look on you and I really like the colour/ print combinations. Becoming braver in my clothing choices is something I keep trying to do and failing miserably, mixing prints and colours is top of my list to try so I’ll be interested to see what things you pair
What a lovely combination you have going on here, I love how the dress looks with that cardigan! And I’m so in love with your hair.
Adorable! I love the socks and oxfords with your beautiful green dress. That cardigan looks so nice and cozy too. I love this so much. The textures definitely work perfectly.
Love the cut and color of your dress :)
