Botanical Gardens

I don’t think I’ve seen anything so beautiful as the botanical gardens at the Indianapolis zoo! Yes, this is at a zoo. We enjoyed the animals and walking around in the extreme heat (can’t you tell by my disheveled hair and knackered expression?), but when we sort of just stumbled into the gardens, we were filled with excitement and we had to snap a few photos. It’s like it expanded and unfolded before our eyes with rows, hedges and walkways. I hope to go back for more… and I can only imagine having a wedding at such a place (which funny enough, was happening simultaneously)

Oh my goodness! That looks indeed like a majestic place to have a wedding or even a garden party! If you have a wedding anytime soon you’ve got a possible wedding singer right here ;).
Man you and your honey sure take breathtaking pictures all the time! I’m in love with the water lilies. And with your dress too of course! I’m about to go scavenge for it online haha. I appreciate your little hair bow detail as well :)
Oh and by the way! I see your blog/website always going through incredible changes! It just gets sweater and sweater! If I ever take off as a successful artist, and have enough money, I would totally love to have you design a possible website or something :), although that won’t be for a while because I’m currently a broke ass college music student haha :)

Nope! The gardens are free :) Just the admission price into the zoo :D

I love going to botanical gardens. I recently went to one in Georgia. All the flowers were blooming and it just took my breath away…so lovely. Someday I hope to capture a little of that magic in my backyard (soon to be) garden.

Those gardens seem like the perfect retreat in the middle of a zoo! (I know I always get a bit run-down and overheated whenever I visit the zoo here in Pittsburgh.) And you really picked the perfect dress for the surroundings!
Yes, I always get a bit run down too. It was sort of a reward to come across it at the end of the day, after walking around in the hot heat :)
